Oral Preparation Guidelines for Presentation at the Conference:

Your formal presentation (the presentation that you will present at the Conference) must be submitted through the FTP site by April 25, 2008.  However, a memory stick, CD/DVD copy of your presentation should be brought to the conference as a safety measure.

Please Adhere to the Following Guidelines:

• Speakers must use the conference-supplied computer and computer projector to present their material.  No personal computers will be allowed.

• MS PowerPoint and PDF are acceptable formats.

• Plan your presentation according to the 20-minute timeframe allotted.  Session chairs will hold speakers to the allotted time because parallel sessions are synchronized to permit room changing between sessions.  Presentations may consist of as many slides as you can cover in this 20-minute timeframe as outlined:

  • Introduction: 1 minute

  • Presentation: 15 minutes

  • Questions: 4 minutes
